Major competitive advantages of the RCD suspension lift systems are their simplicity and the use of Bilstein 5100 series shock absorbers. No replacement front driveshaft is needed for Auto-Trac equipped vehicles and installation is relatively easy compared to other more complicated kits.
The RCD 6" Suspension System for the 1988 - 2000 Chevy/GMC 8-lug, 2500, 3500 (Single Rear Wheel) K Series Pick Up & Suburban, 4WD, Standard Torsion Bar Suspension (*K Series Old Body Style Only) includes: CNC machined replacement cast iron steering knuckles, T-6 billet aluminum axle spacers, zinc plated billet steel "Super-Flex" sway bar end links, replacement heavy duty lower link arms, rear coil spring, shock absorber relocation bracketry, and Bisltein 5100 Series Shock Absorbers. Note: no drive shaft modifications are needed for installation

Wheel/Tire Specifications:
Max Tire Size: 33" x 12.5" w/ no modifications necessary. 35" & larger x 12.5" require minor fender and/or bumper trimming.
Max Backspace: 16" x 8" - 4.5" backspacing. 16.5" & larger x 8" = 4.75" backspacing.
Additional Information:
-Will NOT work with Air Ride or Electronic Suspension Systems
-Recalibration of the speedometer, ABS and stability control systems (if applicable) will be required by an authorized GMC/Chevy Dealer
-Must enlarge lower control arm sway bar end link mounting hole to 3/4”
-Will not work on vehicles equipped with spindle mounted ABS sensor
-Some models may require an exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft
-Vehicles equipped with two piece rear drive shaft may require 20-68747 Drive Shaft Support Drop Down Bracket for the factory carrier bearing . Other rear driveline modifications may be required.
