The Tndra's suspension is complex. Toyota was the first manufacturer to incorporate "coilover strut) and rack and pinion suspension technolouy in a halp ton truck startin in 1999. The RCD 6" Suspension System for the vehicles manufactured after September, 2003 Toyota Tundra 2WD / 4WD includes: CNC Machined Replacement Cast Iron Steering Knuckles for Precise Steering Geometry, Heavy Duty Two Piece Lower Sub-Frame Cross Members that are Precision Formed from 1/4" Thick Plate Steel Insuring Structural Strength and Durability, polished 304 Stainless Steel "Twin-Link" Anti-Compression Struts Provide Additional Support and Exceptional Support. Replacement Bilstein 5100 Series Coil-Over Front Shocks for Superior Handling and Ride Characteristics. RCD "Gator Black" Polyurethane Powder Coat Finish for Lasting Good Looks. Grade 8 Hardware for Reliability. Steel Braided Front Brake Lines for Correct Length and Increased Braking Performance. Replacement Heavy Duty Front Sway Bar for Added Performance and Stability. Custom Matched Bilstein 5100 Series Monotube Gas Pressure Front & Rear Shocks.

This kit is compatible with:

•   2003 - 2006 Toyota Tundra 2WD & 4WD

  (Manufacturing date must be after 8/2003)

Wheel/Tire Specifications:

  Max Tire Size: 33" x 12.5" - no modification necessary. 35" x 12.5" - some minor fender and/or bumber trimming may be required.

  Max Backspace: 16" & larger x 8" - maximum 4" backspace.

Additional Information:

  -Will NOT work with Air Ride and/or Electronic Suspension Systems
  -Recalibration of the speedometer, ABS and stability control systems (if applicable) will be required by an authorized Toyota Dealer
  -Stock drive shaft retained
  -Vehicles produced between 8/2003 and 7/2004 will need short style steering yoke kit.
  -Kit will only fit vehicles manufactured after 8/2003 with large lower control arm and ball joint.
  -Strut type coil spring compressor, a 20T hydraulic press, along with Toyota front end disassembly tools are required for installation.
  -Front system is adjustable upon installation to either a 4” or a 6” ride height configuration.
  -System features replacement steering knuckles with pre-installed factory Toyota wheel bearings.
